On 20th May 2025, DUHS organized an academic session on thalassemia at Dow International Medical College under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Uzma Bukhari. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Dur-e-Naz Jamal (SBTA), with expert talks from Dr. Jawad Hassan (IHHN), Dr. Zeeshan Ansar Ahmed (AKUH), and Dr. Munira Borhany (Ziauddin & Midcity Hospitals). The session was accredited by the Pakistan Society of Hematology (PSH).
